Elizabeth Ricks, age 88, died Monday, August 20, 2012 at her home.
She was a member of Hart's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband Marion L. Ricks of the home, one son; Marion L. Ricks, Jr., of Rocky Mount, N.C, three daughters Alice Ricks of Washington D.C, Elizabeth Powell and Linda Deloatch both of Tarboro, N.C, one brother ; Arthur Lyons of Tarboro, N.C, two sisters; Olivia Hinton of Rocky Mount, N.C and Mary Williams of Richmond, V.A., seven grandchildren , four great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Saturday, August 25, 2012, at the Hart's Chapel, with Reverend Elijah Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Tarboro, NC.
A viewing will be held on Friday from 2:00-8:00PM at the funeral home.
