Lathan Dozier, age 76, died Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at the Tarboro Nursing Center. He was born May 5, 1931 to the late Lathan Dozier and Pearl Pettaway Dozier.

Lathan leaves to cherish his memories, three sons, Nathan Williams of Camp Springs, MD., Robert Williams and Cornelius Williams of Oak City, N. C.; one daughter, Beverly Roberson of Robersonville, N. C.; one brother, David Lee Dozier of Tarboro, N. C.; six sisters, Lillie Jones of Tarboro, N. C., Matilda Dickens of Washington, C. D., Sarah Dunn of Tarboro, N. C., Minnie Pearl Deloatch of Conetoe, N. C., Mary Stanley of Tarboro, N. C. and Jessie Westry of Yonkers, N. Y.; seventeen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 2:00PM at Conetoe Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, with Reverend Richard E. Joyner officiating. Burial will follow in the Conetoe Chapel Church Cemetery.

A viewing will be on Tuesday from 2:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
